Discourse Studies Barcelona (Estudios del Discurso) is an initative of specialists in Discourse Studies (DS) of the public universities of Barcelona: 

• Pompeu Fabra University (UPF)

• The University of  Barcelona (UB)

• The Autonomous University of  Barcelona (UAB)

The aims of the CED are:

• To promote the study of discourse in Barcelona

• To organise, support and inform about DS at the universities of Barcelona

• To organise teaching in DS, especially at the graduate level (masters, doctorate).

• To inform students and others interested in DS

• To publish and update a web site with information, links, documentation, etc. in DS

• To organise congresses, conferences and talks.
